Latest Loves | April Style

What are your thoughts on the off the shoulder tops that are EVERYWHERE?  I really love them!  Perfect for so many occasions both casual and dressy.  And most of them you can also wear as a one shoulder, and I adore that look too.  And I'm a sucker for straw totes for the summer.  Of course this one with the stripes is fun!  The tassel trend is still going strong as well, making these sandals a great buy for the summer.  And just FYI, most the Ray-bans at Nordstrom are still 25%.  If you are wanting a pair for summer, now's the chance to get them on sale.  And finally, does anyone have a pair of these white cropped jeans in the collage above?  I have such a hard time with white jeans and wanted to know your thoughts before I purchase.  Love the price and the cropped look.
Here are a few more cute off the shoulder tops:

And I just ordered this striped ruffled peplum top yesterday (see below.)  I love peplum tops!  This one is extra good with the stripes and ruffles.  It's on sale for $24.99 with the additional 50% taken at checkout.  (P.S. While I was checking my links this morning, the sale changed a bit overnight.  Now 40% off with code BRSAVE.  Still a good deal!)

Have a beautiful day!

Home Tour | Crazy Wonderful

I am so excited to share Shelley's home with you all today.  I've followed her blog for years now and love her design and decorating style.  Clean, crisp, simple décor done so perfectly.  She recently moved to Texas and we are only about 20 minutes from one another.  Yes, we need to plan a coffee or wine date :)
Not only does she have a great eye for design, but she is an amazing DIYer, like this  inlay mirror, shiplap wall, and nightstand hack.  Each one of those is so, so good!  Let's take a look at her gorgeous home.

Stunning!!  I could seriously move right in and not change a single thing...LOVE it!  For more pictures of Shelley's home you can visit her blog Crazy Wonderful.  She has also sourced out a lot of her décor and paint colors, which I have been stalking and saving for our new home.  You'll love her ideas and her adorable family too.

Hope your week is going well.  We are on day three of no school because of flooding in our area.  And I heard we could be out all week.  Even though we are getting a little cabin fever, I am so thankful we are safe and dry.  Praying for all those in our community affected by the storms.

Celebrating Mom | Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's Day is only a few weeks away and if you're like me and order everything online these days, it's time to start thinking about what you might want to buy.  The simple monogram totes above are always great for moms, since we are always lugging around everyone's stuff.  I also love these sweet, girlie gifts below...
Celebrate mom with any of these pretties or treat yourself :)
Still two more days for the One Room Spring Tours.  Check out the full line-up and lots of inspiration here.  Have a beautiful day!

One Room Spring Tour - Front Door/Porch

Hi there!  I am really excited to be part of this One Room Spring Home Tour that Kathleen from Lindsay Hill Interiors put together.  She has the most amazing eye for design, so I feel honored that she included me.  I love how she came up with the idea to only showcase one space of your home rather then an entire home, which is quite the undertaking.  You can see the full line-up of talent at the end of this post and you can follow along on Instagram by checking out the hashtag #oneroomspringtour.

If you are coming over from Life on the Shady Grove, welcome!  I found Wendy via Instagram awhile back and oh my goodness if you haven't visited her site or feed you have got check her out.  She is a wife, mom and has the most gorgeous home and adorable animals.

Most of you know that we are in between homes right now, but we will be closing on our new one in May, yay!  So today I'm sharing a space from our last home that we sold in December.  To tie into today's theme, this set up is our outdoor porch furniture that I thought would be fun to set up in our yard and create a little entertaining or relaxation spot for Spring.

Here's a little bit about what I did to refresh this furniture and space for Spring.  The oleanders and other landscaping made a great backdrop to create this space, so I pulled our porch furniture over and got to work.  After cleaning up the furniture from all of winter's mess, I added color with the bright blue throw pillows and napkins.  I also added the black and white striped umbrella which for us provides more of a décor piece, as this area of yard is completely shaded in the late afternoon.

The galvanized planters hold both my mason jars of fresh flowers, as well as my chips and dip.  I love using fresh flowers and fruit to add color to a space.
So that wraps up my Spring  One Room Tour, but there is still lots of inspiration to be shared all week.  Next, head over to Sarah @ Life on Virginia Street to see how she decorated her entryway, which will be tomorrow's theme.  Her home is stunning and I am always so inspired by her décor and design ideas.

Sandals Under Thirty-three

one | two | three | four | five | six
Have you seen some of Target's cute and affordable sandals they have out this Spring?  I walked by the shoe department last week and of course had to take a peek.  I ended up deciding on number two and then got to the register and the lady said, "you know they are buy one, get the second pair 50% off?"  So back I went for number six :)  I've worn both already and really comfy.  I didn't see number one in my store, but found it on-line and LOVE that pair too!  They are all priced in the $20 range, except for number three which is $33.  Such great prices that even without the BOGO 50% off, you could pick up a couple of pairs.
Hope your week is going well!  Have a beautiful day!
