Summer Style

 photo 650 ff_zpsu5r3h3xq.jpg

Happy May!  Has your May schedule blown up like ours?  Oh my goodness, I was looking at the calendar yesterday and we are so booked in May.  Every weekend there is something going on and so many activities with the kids.  One day at a day from here on out!  Will our poor kitchen backsplash project ever happen?

Anyways, I am majorly crushing on off the shoulder tops lately!  I love, love, love this one in blue.  How pretty is it paired with white skinny jeans?

I have a busy work week this week, so I'm keeping it short.  Have a great day!

P.S. You can find more of my style picks under my "SHOP" tab or by clicking here.

DIY Teacher Gift

Can you believe it is May 1st tomorrow??  So crazy how fast time flies.  And with us jumping into May, that means the school year is coming to an end and it's time to think about all those wonderful teachers who worked with (and put up with) our dear children all year :)

I actually saw this idea floating around last year, but ran out to time to get it done.

So, supply wise you'll need a pot, paint, sponge brushes, a pretty plant and then whatever finishing touches you want to include.  And the rest is pretty simple.

Cute, sweet and personal gift for your child's teacher.

And please tell me how this girl will be a second grader next year?  Slow down father time!
Have a wonderful day!

Easy Appetizer

Hey there!  I hope everyone's week is off to a great start.  I feel like it's been forever since I've shared a recipe on here.  I'm definitely all about easy recipes with "normal" ingredients.  If I have to search all over for an ingredient or question what it is, I can assure you I'm moving on to something else.  We had my parents visiting over the weekend and I put together this really easy appetizer that I wanted to share.  Basically a few of my favorite ingredients sprinkled over toasted bread, but oh so good together!
