This little space is a struggle for me to decorate. I really love the white stone on our fireplace, but I still don't know if I'm completely happy with the decor and the arrangement. I like to add a little something up there for different holidays, birthdays and any special occasion. Things move around
a lot up there, but thought I would share how my mantle looks
today :)
Thanks for taking a peek :)
Hope your weekend is filled with happiness!
I love your white fireplace, but then again I love any furniture or room that is white. There is just so much possibility. Love the look and can't wait to see how you change it over the holidays.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess for taking a look :)
DeleteLove the simplicity of the decorating. I think sometimes people over do the decorating on a mantle. I love the white stone! Visiting from Kelly's Korner.
ReplyDeleteI love the white fireplace!! The decor you have on the mantle looks great with the white backdrop!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comments :)
DeleteLove the simplicity :) It reminds me of a house you would find in the south of France!
ReplyDeleteThank you Shana. Glad you stopped by :)
DeleteI love the topiary. Do you know where you got it? I'm looking for some similar for our guest bath! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Ashlee, I got the topiary from Restoration Hardware. I've also seen similar ones at Target, Home Goods and Ballard. Thanks for looking :)
DeleteThe white stone and dark wood mantle....GORGEOUS!! I think you've done a great job!
ReplyDeleteI am so pinning this... we have a large stone hearth where a potbelly stove used to sit- been begging my hubby for 6 years to put up a mantle... I am showing him this and having him install it- You made My Whole Day!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have the perfect set up and adding a mantle would make it an amazing space! So glad this post helped you out :)
DeleteI love the simpleness of your mantle. You can never go wrong with white. It is just so crisp, clean, and inviting. I am with you on always changing up my mantle (holiday, b-days, ect..) As much as I love switching it up it is definitely a lot of work...but so worth it :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend, Becky!!

ReplyDeleteXOXO
Becky,
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through Our fifth House. I absolutely love your mantel. Can you tell me where you bought it? I am looking or a mantel for my fireplace, which has none. And this one looks perfect. My email address is nrm1970@hotmail.com
How did you paint your fireplace? I like how there are variations of color and not just stark white. Do you remember what paint colors to used?

ReplyDeleteI'm interested to know how you painted your stone fireplace, also. Mine is a similar looking stone but it is not real stone. It's very old and needs to be freshened up.
