simple diy fiesta centerpiece

Hola mi amigos!

We had some friends over for fajitas and margaritas awhile back and this simple little prickly centerpiece was a fun little addition to our evening.  Here's what you need.
  1. Any colored yarn -- I had red and turquoise on hand, but this would be super cute with even more bright fiesta colors!
  2. A container -- I used a mason jar, because I had some of my mom's homemade picante sauce in another mason jar that I gave them as a little party favor :)
  3. And double sided tape.

I placed the double sided tape in a couple of spots around the jar and started wrapping the yarn.

I continued wrapping, alternating the colors until I felt the width of my band was how I liked it.

Finally, fill it with whatever you desire.  I choose this little cactus to keep with our fiesta theme.  Here it is with my mom's homemade picante sauce, which I sent with home with each guest.

Enjoy your day!
