Valentine's Day Breakfast
Hi there! Can you believe it is Valentine's Day this weekend? My goodness the weeks are flying by! I'm kind of excited that it falls on a weekend this year! Grant and I don't go out on the actual day, simply to avoid the crowds. I much rather go out another weekend or during the week and enjoy a less chaotic dinner together. Although Valentine's Day often focuses on couples, I like to involve Preston and Lyla in the holiday as well and I usually get them a small little something and just try to make the day special. Because it falls on a weekend this year, I thought it would be fun to do a Valentine's Day breakfast. Nothing too fancy...strawberry muffins, heart shaped pancakes or waffles and fruit. Orange juice for the kiddos and maybe a mimosa for the adults and everyone wins ;)
Valentine's Day is the perfect time to shower your loved ones with little tokens of affection. And I think some of the most memorable holidays are those spent at home celebrating with your favorite people. So a special breakfast at home sounds perfect!
