Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a quick, healthy summertime snack with you. My sister-in-law hosted a party a couple of weeks ago and made these and I loved them! Apples topped with a few of my favorite ingredients...yes please! They were so yummy that I decided to make a batch yesterday and they were a hit with my family too!
- 2-3 apples
- peanut butter
- shaved coconut
- sliced almonds
- chocolate chips
- Slice apples and then core out middle. (In case you didn't know, like I didn't, there is such thing as an apple coring tool, found at my grocery store. And it works wonderfully!) I found it easier to slice the apple, then core the middle out with my new little tool.
- Spread a layer of peanut butter.
- Sprinkle on the coconut and almonds.
- Top off with chocolate chips.
