I recently received my Serena and Lily Fall magazine {love} in the mail and as I was flipping through I came across one of their beautiful Fall tablescapes with the theme "togetherness." And it stuck with me. When I started thinking about what I wanted to do for my Fall mantel, that word came to mind and I knew I wanted to incorporate it some way. When I think of Fall that's what I think about -- being together and spending time with family and friends -- togetherness.
You may remember that last week, I showed my Fall table using a reclaimed wood plank as my runner. My husband cut it down to fit my dining table and I decided that the small leftover piece would be perfect for my Fall mantel. I simply wrote directly on the board with chalk -- togetherness.
I wanted to keep it simple with a brown and white color scheme, so the only other additions are the pumpkins and the brown satin ribbon. The large white pumpkin is from Hobby Lobby and the small amber colored one is from Home Goods -- togetherness.
Welcome Autumn
And here are some of my other Fall projects:

ReplyDeleteOHHHH I love this I wish I had a mantle so I could decorate it. I often want to decorate but get frustrated with even trying. With four kids nothing ever stays the way I put it. I believe I already follow your blog from the Monday Mingle last week.
