Ingredients
2 sticks of real unsalted butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 and 3/4 cups chopped pecans
1 box of graham crackers
Method
Line a cookie sheet with foil and place a layer of whole graham crackers on pan
Boil mixture of butter, brown sugar and pecans in microwave for 2 minutes
Pour mixture over graham crackers and spread evenly
Bake for 10 minutes @ 325, cool and break into pieces (I find it easier to cut into pieces)
I know we all just finished with the holidays and most of us are trying to eat healthy, but I wanted to share this super easy, yummy recipe. With only 4 ingredients and 4 steps, it is seriously the easiest dessert to whip up. I got the recipe last Thanksgiving from my mom and sister. My sweet grandma picked, cracked and peeled me these pecans from her trees this Fall and gave me a whole large butter container full. So, I made these to bring to both of our family Christmases and they didn't last long. They are scrumptious and if you need a treat to take to your next gathering and time is an issue, these will deliver!
Enjoy!
Yum! And ADORABLE that your grandma did that!!
