I really love getting trick or treaters and seeing all the kids in their favorite costumes. But with two little ones and Halloween usually falling on a school night, we turn in pretty early. We head out trick or treating around 6:30 and then return home to pass out candy for a little while.
I made this little sign to hang out front when we are ready to head in, to let our later crowd know we are closed for business :)
Have A Great Day!
My parents need this!!! They don't like to have trick or treaters, lame I know!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I may just have to follow suit and make one for our door! Thanks for sharing at the Pomp Party! Hope to see you back next week!
ReplyDeleteWe moved last year and found out our new neighborhood is Halloween CENTRAL. I didn't find this out until the day before and so I handed out over 900 pieces of candy and ran out an hour before the trick or treaters left our neighborhood. The news said over 1300 people came - Yeah! This year, I'll be buying less candy , then use the above sign. Thanks, I really NEEDED this - cute and friendly but lets me stay sane with my own kids on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! Very cute! Thanks for visiting from the Mingle :)

ReplyDeleteLove this! We now have a 9 month old but last year we had some trick or treaters ringing the doorbell AFTER we turned our light off. This may help deter late visitors from waking up my little. Thanks!
