Good Morning! I hope your week is off to a lovely start! I finally got my mantel looking a little more like Fall. Well, Kinda :) This year I changed things up a bit and decided to go with a simple, gold Fall mantel. I love the traditional Fall colors too, but when I found the glittery, gold pumpkin and gold hooter, I decide to just go for the gold ;) They were definitely the starting pieces for the rest of the mantel.
I couldn't find a banner that I really liked so I decided to make one. I used scrapbook paper, gold glittery letters and gold ribbon, all which I picked up at Michael's. The pumpkin is also from Michael's and the hooter is from Target.
This framed Fall watercolor print was my final addition to this mantel. Grant and I picked up this print when we visited Asheville, NC in the Fall a few years ago. It is a beautiful, blend of soft Autumn colors and definitely reminds of our amazing trip.
And you may or may have not noticed, but I even painted my mirror gold. The dark brown color just wasn't working for me anyone. Figured just as easy as it became gold, it could become another color again, right :)
This is definitely a bit different from my Fall mantel last year, but it's fun to switch things up a bit. So what about you...are you a traditional Fall color person (which I love too) or do you like to jazz it up a bit?
Happy Fall! Have an amazing day!!
adorable!
