This week is all about post from Halloween past.
1. Halloween candy wrappers. We made these last year for the kids' teachers and I'm thinking we'll do the same again this year. Follow this link for a free printable.
2. Simple purple and white Halloween mantel with countdown chalkboard. I don't go overboard on decorating for Halloween, but like to add a little something for the kids.
3. Fun Halloween lights. Loved these! Pulling them out again soon.
4. Friendly "out of candy" sign for my door. Since my kids are in bed by 8:30 pm at the latest, I made this little sign to put out on my front door, just to keep the doorbell from ringing once we're in bed :)
Have an amazing weekend friends!
Love the sign on the door and the little ghosts with chocolate wrapped inside.
ReplyDeleteSuch a smart idea to put on the door! We might just have to try that one! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo that's what I have to look forward to with having a boy?!?! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat door sign idea, may have to use this this year as well :)
Thank you for the sweet words.... I love this link-up too and have been blown away by the response and amazed at how very sweet everyone is!! Really, really great group! :)
ReplyDeleteLove all of your Halloween photos and ideas -- and your cuties are precious!! They grow to fast, don't they?!
The "out of candy" sign is genius! I never think to do that -- turning your porch light off doesn't work anymore in our neighborhood. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration - Halloween is sneaking up on me this year. Gotta get to it! Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteFun! The kiddos are so cute. Our HOA tells homeowners to turn porch lights on if accepting trick or treaters, off if not or done for the evening. Works really well since everyone knows the drill.
ReplyDeleteThe door hanger is such a great idea! And I love your Halloween mantle…I don't go overboard either, but will probably do a little more once Arden's old enough to get it. I can't wait for her to get as excited about holidays as I do! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!
Love your decorations-very cute and simple! Great idea with the door sign-definitely going to make one since my little guy goes to bed at 7:30. Thanks! I never would have thought of that!!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the link-up! Newest follower! :)
that door sign is SO smart!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOooh, I think I'll make those Halloween candy wrappers for my students this year! =D Thank you for sharing the idea.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I LOVE those candy wrappers!! That is too adorable. Purple and black is a great combination for Halloween. I also love the "out of candy" sign, I'll have to make my own! I'm so inspired now! :)
